Philosophy

Discussing ideas, facts, feelings and concepts on a regular basis is imperative for effective and beneficial communication. This is why here at Spectrum Inc GC we have provided all of our employees with top-of-the-line communication devices, arranged meetings with all parties of the project so they may meet and communicate, and keep the client wholly involved; this means you can always reach someone all the time and you will always be informed, or capable of finding something you do not know with minutes of your inquiry. Open communication is a critical factor in the construction industry. The success of design sensitive projects, critical path schedules, and team member relationships/ responsibilities is dependent on real time communication. As such, all members on staff are provided with cellular phones/radios. In addition, project job sites are outfitted with facsimile machines, portable personal computers and e-mail; scanners and printers are made available to field staff on an as-need basis. The end result of the technology is to facilitate the communication of your projects needs so you will always know and understand the status of your project. Although we have all this technology to communicate, save time and improve efficiency, we are also concerned with the personal customer care. Therefore, we host weekly Owner/Architect/Client (OAC) meetings to answer our client’s questions, explain anything that might be complex, and, out of common courtesy, get to know our client on an individual basis. Although we want to get to know our customer, these meetings are held in a business-like manner to ensure that everyone is on task and well informed, which generates accomplishment. OAC meetings are scheduled at a prearranged time; Spectrum provides an established agenda, meeting minutes, schedules, submittal/RFI/CPO logs, and the “Hot List,” along with any additional documentation required by the project.
